Both front axles and the front axle on the trailer turns. But yet the turning radius still sucks
The speedo even optimistically goes to 80. Oh you silly truck

something, something, downhill, hurricane...
We get those going over the pass on 90 and 82 to the Yakima Training Center. Seen several on the side of the road overheated, (climbing grade with a load in 95 deg weather doesn’t make for a good combination...)

Ive yet to overheat one side far, but downhill with this load will start throwing over speed alarms.

We used to have these. If you released the spare, and didnt hold the brace rod, the retention spring would snap and shoot the tire into the ground.
They had at least seven recalls before the were deployed. If you hit a bump with a full bench, the seat braces would snap and drop everyone on the ground. The solid box variants were known to fill up with exhaust from the separate compartment heater. During tender, it didn’t meet the requiremts. They changed the requirements to let it in because it was made in Canada.
After an officer locked the throttle with the hand control to get the extra 5km/h and spun out on the highway on some black ice, they disconnected all of the hand throttles.
We used to unload them at the bottom of hills so they could carry everything up the hill to put back in the truck. It couldn’t carry the load. Guys in my unit snapped two of the trucks frames trying to pull a water buffalo across a road during workup for Yugo.
